we camp at Union Creek CG. Meet old friends and their families from our Redding years. this was year 31. we all have gotten a bit grayer. and now the grandkids come.

Always good to see old friends

One slight problem was when it is hot in Medford Union Creek fills on week-end and can get noisy. it was 95 in medford. We may shift our time to get there and leave earlier in week. we really can%26#39;t complain a lot, because once we were a bit noisier.

We visited National Creek Falls for first time. 3 or so miles off main road and half mile hike, but quite a nice falls.

Oh that sounds like it was fun! Is Beckies in Union Creek? I know it is close anyway. When my dad drove up to Sunriver a few weeks ago when we were all there, he had to stop at Beckies for pie. He first started going there as a kid on camping trips but had not stopped there for many years. He said this time he asked the poor young girl working if the pies are as good as they were 50+ years ago, lol! The girl wasn%26#39;t sure how to respond:) He bought one, and said yes, they are still just as good. I have not heard of those falls, but all falls are pretty cool to see, I think.

Yes. Beckies, walking distance from CG. In our early years there, I went to Becky%26#39;s for cinamon rolls and huckleberry pies, both great. but I have lost my sweet tooth
