My husband and I are relocating to Portland from the Seattle area because of a job change. He will be working in Wilsonville. We have been looking at Villebois because it%26#39;s close to his work. Any one have any comments or scoop on that development???
Relocating to Portland area
I live less than 5 minutes from it, does that count? lol! BTW, we moved here from the Seattle area for a job change too, although this was home for me from years ago. Anyway, Villebois looks nice and they have been working on it for quite a while. The homes I have seen so far look nice, and I love what their plans are for the area. It is basically in an area that was all rural, and actually, the northern edge of it is still. It is easy access to I-5 too. There are some fantastic views from the area as well. Let me know if I can help with anything else:)

Yeah, what Mtngrl said about Villebois. :-) Streets are a little tight, though, and until they build the Boeckman Rd. extension, it%26#39;s not very convenient to get to.
If you want to live in Wilsonville, I%26#39;d also suggest you consider a new development by Renaissance Homes a half mile off the east side of I-5. Renaissance is well thought of around here as a quality home builder, and is now developing a reputation as being on the cutting edge of building ';green';. Here%26#39;s a website for their Wilsonville development: http://tinyurl.com/qnsvf.
mistletoe--Is that extention the one that goes from HWY 99 and basically goes right behind the Woodhaven subdivision?
Renaissance homes are nice, I agree. A neighbor had a problem with grading, but they came and took care of it.
Mtngrl, Boeckman is the east-west road over I-5 between the north and central Wilsonville freeway interchanges. Right now, it kind of deadends on the west side of I-5, but there are plans to extend it all the way out to Villebois. I%26#39;m not sure which one you%26#39;re thinking about, but there are also things in the works to build a road from 99W in Sherwood to connect to I-5 somewhere in the Tualatin-Wilsonville area.
By the way, redmondgal, I%26#39;m guessing your husband could walk to work from the Renaissance development.
