I am renting a house in Netarts, with some friends for a crabbing trip in two weeks. I was wondering if there are any good restaurants or lounges in the area?

Two places that come to mind are Whiskey Creek (on the road to Cape Lookout) and Roseanna%26#39;s in Oceanside. Neither is ';good'; by most Portland standards, but both are what you should expect for small-town coastal Oregon. Besides those, Pelican Pub in Pacific City isn%26#39;t too far away.

If you%26#39;re up for a longer drive, Nehalem River Inn is easily the best around, good by any standard, great by some. But it%26#39;s about 35 miles away.

The Pelican is about a 25-30 minute drive. Good food and beer, but pricey.

In Garibaldi, the Pirate%26#39;s Cove is good for seafood, reasonably priced with gorgeous views of the water. Have fun! :)
