Worldmark Seaside by Trendwest in June

We are planning a trip to the Northwest next June and need to know about this resort. Can anyone tell me about this resort and its location? Thank you very much for any information.

I haven%26#39;t stayed here but the resort is gorgeous. It is located right at the Turnaround at the promenade in Seaside. You will be right on the beach and close to all of the shops and restaurants. The Shilo Inn, Sam%26#39;s Seaside Cafe, Dooger%26#39;s, Vista Sea Cafe and Lil Bayou are all within walking distance.

There is also a huge outdoor pool and a jacuzzi that is always full every time I ride by there on my bike. Enjoy Seaside and let me know if you have any further questions! :)

We stayed there. syrah is right resort is right on beach but most of rooms do not face the beach. We had to strin a bit to see the ocean from our room. the north side rooms are right on broadway which is a busy street and may have noise well into the evening. Our room was on the parking lot. so was quiet.

I doubt we will stay there again. when we stay in seaside try to stay away from Broadway.

I assume if you%26#39;re staying at the WorldMark resort, that you are a WorldMark owner, or are doing an exchange through another timeshare program.

I have stayed at the Seaside WM resort, as a guest of a WorldMark owner. It was a very nice condo, relatively new and nicely furnished and outfitted. There was a full kitchen, and I think a washer/dryer.

As another person stated, it is right on the main-drag in Seaside, at the end of the ';turnaround'; and fronting the ocean. If you like being in the center of things, this will be the place for you.

If you prefer being a little more ';away from the action';, and are a WorldMark owner, you might look into one of their other resorts on the Oregon coast, in Gleneden Beach or Depoe Bay. Both of those are also ocean front and very nice properties.

Enjoy your time on the coast!

Megin did much nicer job of describing place at Seaside We gave our daughter and family af ew nights there and they loved it, but she likes to be where the action is. we don%26#39;t and why we likely won%26#39;t stay there. again

All rooms at Whale Pointe are ocean front. About half of those at Gleneden are. But Gleneden has a beach and Whale pointe does not. It has rocky shore line, and if you like watching ocean crash about great place to be.

Gleneden is vvery quiet location. we will probably stay there again. and for sure we will at Whale Pointe. we have been going to Whale Pointe for 5 and more years now.

You might also want to know what the ';action'; in Seaside is. The town has long been a favorite of kids and teenagers. Broadway is lined mostly with arcades, bumper cars, fast-food type vendors, and stores selling beach-tourist kitsch. Worldmark has raised the bar some, but it seems that city planners don%26#39;t now have a clear idea about what they want Seaside to be. I%26#39;ve not stayed at Worldmark; the room balconies literally hanging over Broadway are enough to dissuade me considering it. Especially since there are better options down the coast.

We spent a week at this resort in September and loved it - it is all the previous posts have stated.

Our unit was overlooking Broadway which we were led to believe was noisy, but as it was on the 7th floor and at a quiet time of year we did not find it so. We also had a good view of the north end of the beach over the rooftops.

As we were on a RCI exchange, I contacted the resort before our arrival to request an ocean view unit, but was told their policy is to allocate on a first booking order, ie if you reserved in January you would get a better unit than someone who reserved in March.

AngelaG, lucky you! A week in Seaside, how wonderful! Glad you enjoyed the resort. :)
