Think we need reservations?

In Eureka,Sunday night the 20th we do have reservations after that no hotel reservations. Do you think we need them? We are just not sure how long it would take to get anywhere- thought the Coos Bay area might be a good stop for Monday night, any comments about both needing reservations during the week and Coos Bay area- thanks.

Think we need reservations?

Coos Bay in my view not a good tourist stop. Bandon would be better, right on ocean. And even Mon would suggest reservations. in Bandon. may not need them in Coos Bay. Bandon place to spend an evening/day. Coos Bay place to spend the night.

Last fall we went from Crescent City to Bandon in a day, and we live here. easy to piddle your way along the south coast and you still need to see some redwoods from Eureka. then took us til noon to get out of Bandon. but it was low tide in the morn. my wife can%26#39;t miss a good low tide on the beach

we spent next night in Yachats.

when we travel we carry long distance phone card and call ahead maybe at 2PM when we know how our day is going.

I agree with the Bandon idea. But if you need to go to Coos Bay andI you want one of the nicer chain hotels(Best Western, Red Lion) in Coos Bay- definetly reserve. I go to Coos Bay alot for work and sometimes they have big tour groups come in there and you cant find rooms. If you can%26#39;t find anything on the main drag(101) try North Bend a little west of 101.

We have stayed at the Red Lion in Coos Bay. It is fine, a basic hotel with a swimming pool and restaurant. I would make reservations, just to be on the safe side. The summer months are busy everywhere, you may receive a good rate since you%26#39;re staying during the week. :)
