Long John Silvers

Are there any Long John Silvers in Oregon? My Mum likes their fish and chips and as we were going to take a trip from West Richland thought we may try to visit one.

There is SO much good fresh seafood in Oregon and there are SO many good restaurants, you can really do better than a chain fast food place like Long John Silvers! and they do vary in quality from place to place..You can get fish and chips in most of the restaurants on the Coast..as well as seafood places in Portland..

Stick with the locals Josiem.....Phirl,Scarlett,Dengay,Rivergallery,Mistletoe,Mtngrl..they all live there and are not pretending or wishing to live here like some of us Californians,,,right Syrah? ; )

Thanks for all the replys, Mum is 86 yrs old and we visit every 2 years, as I said she is in West Richland and there is a place in Wenatchee she likes so we always take her there, a round trip of about 6hrs, just for fish and chips!!! We live on the coast in England, so we thought we may like to see waterfalls and stuff instead, it will only be for a 1 or 2 night trip so I think the coast may be too much driving.

Am I correct in understanding you%26#39;re planning to drive from West Richland down the Columbia River gorge to see the waterfalls? If so, you have to come at least as far as Hood River, and Portland is only another 45 minutes, so I suggest spending that one night in Portland, where, as Scarlett says, you%26#39;ll have many options for great fish and chips. Even Long John Silvers!

Heck, since you%26#39;ll likely come as far as Portland, the coast is only another 90 minutes. ;-)

I am surrounded by restaurants that have Fish %26amp; Chips on their menus..in the Pearl District of Portland..

If you did decide to look for restaurants that also carry Fish %26amp; 脟hips, do ask, we all love to eat and tell :) lol

several years ago i ate fish %26amp; chips at a Long John Silvers in Wash DC area as i recall, and thought wish we had those in Oregon. Now we have one here in Tigard and I keep saying have to try it and see if they were really good. I drive by it often

Using site posted by ohliz, I see there is one in Troutdale. You can start or end your Gorge trip there.

Long way to come for fish and chips, but gorge would make it worth it. I suggest you drive the Historic Columbia River Hwy on the way back to Tri-Cities. It shows better eastbound. Make sure to stop at womens Forum

McMenamins makes good fish and chips, and there is one Edgefield in Troutdale, but I hesitate to recommend it over your mums favorite she might be disappointed. I tend to judge a restaurant on how well they do fish and chips.

Today my wife went to Bend. Free dinner night so decided to try Long John Silvers in Tigard. I took my faithful pup and went down to get some fish and chips 4:30 PM Sun It was dark sign said business closed.

You may want to see if Troutdale also cloed before you make long trip from Richland. though McMenamins good back-up
