labor day weekend--any events?

i will be in portland for labor day weekend. are there any special events or happenings that weekend...or anything I should be sure to see in that time?

this is the Portland Oregon Visitors Association calendar..for Labor Day..The Art in the Pearl is great, we moved here last Aug so this was one of the big introductions to the area..

I seem to remember the warm dry weather with cool nights lasting into Sept..

Labor day is usually nice ;) a bit cooler in the night , but I always layer even in mid summer, and Sept days are very nice. I would guess high 60s to low 80s, most commonly in the 70s. especially the beginning, when all the poor kiddos here are staring out the windows.

One thing to note is is the last weekend before school here so there will be lots of traffic.
