I am attending a confernce at the Doubletree Oct 4-8. All the hotels I tried near there are completely booked. Anyone have any ideas for me?

The Doubletree is a short walk from the MAX (light rail) line, which means you%26#39;re about 5-10 minutes from the center of downtown. And that means you can pretty much pick any hotel in downtown Portland, and still be within 15-20 minutes of the Doubletree.
Look at it this way..... All those people booked in hotels near the Doubletree? They%26#39;ll envy you your room in the middle of the action. Hmm.... are you on an expense account?? ;-)
