Portland Baseball Games?

Last time I was in Portland we went to a baseball game at a stadium close to downtown Portland and am interested in doing so again. I believe the local team is called the Portland Beavers? Is that correct? Where can I get information on upcoming games between Sept. 2nd - Sept. 5th when we will be in town? Please advise. Thanks.

You%26#39;re thinking of PGE Park located on the western fringe of downtown. Unfortunately for you, the Beavers are out of town this weekend for their last series of the season.

Yep, that%26#39;s PGE Park and, yep, the Beavers (our AAA baseball team), are gone the rest of the season.

However, if you want to go to a game at the stadium and are not discriminating about which sport, the Portland Timbers (soccer) take on Charleston at 6pm on Sunday Sept. 3rd.

Check out www.pgepark.com for info, ticket prices, etc. I%26#39;m not a soccer fan, but friends who go to games say they%26#39;re a blast.

Going to the stadium for almost any sport is great fun. Seeing the Beavers takes it up another level. Have fun and enjoy!
