I%26#39;m thinking of retiring there (NOT from CA) and may buy property now, so just want to check a few things first.
I was there in August and it was beautiful and I see it still is but starting to get pretty cold at night. On average how long is winter? How cold does it get and how long does it stay that way? How much snow?

Looks like mean temperature in December is 29F and the extreme lowest temp in the last 30 years was -20F Brrr!!!
