Arriving in Depoe Bay on August 13 for one week. Has anyone stayed at the Blue Pacific Condos? What can we expect? Is there easy access to beach?

And what kind of weather can we expect. I was hopeing for hot beach weather, but I have a suspicion that it might be a colder atmosphere?

Also, is there a good pub/bar for us to go to near where we are staying?

I think it is next door to Whale Pointe where we stay, but not sure. This is north end of Depoe bay . If so there is no beach just a great rocky shore line. you have to drive to find beach., Fogarty beach 2 miles or so, and many more beaches near.

Augusts are usually nice at Depoe Bay. It will be colder than Portland. but in 70s or so, maybe more or less. coast not real predictable.

As phirl pointed out, the weather is not very predictable along the coast. I%26#39;d say prepare for highs anywhere from the upper 50%26#39;s to the upper 70%26#39;s. Oh, and the NW wind. Be prepared for a cold NW wind off the ocean.

Has anyone out there stayed at the Harbor Lights Inn? We are planning on an afternoon arrival into Depoe Bay on Saturday and have never been there. It looks awesome on the sight! Any great restaraunts to try? How about activities? Thanks!
